29 year old DJ PGee has been spinning since 2004 in the Washington, DC area, has been featured as a resident DJ at Felix & the Spy Lounge in Adams Morgan, has performed at over 100 public events, weddings and private parties, and has also trained with the Mid-Atlantic Professional DJs' Association. Raised in Prince George's County, Maryland, her moniker is a nod to her roots, but no parental guidance is necessary!
Though her personal tastes tend to gravitate towards brit-pop, new wave and electroclash, PGee has vast collection of current hip-hop, top-40, 80s, disco, funk, old school R&B, classic rock, and swing & big band standards. Please remember that DJ PGee works full time and performs events solely because she enjoys them. For the most part she is not available for weddings/engagements that take place Monday through Friday. Because she wants to be able to devote as much time and enthusiasm as possible to each event, booking more than one (1) event a weekend or booking events more than two (2) weekends a month is done completely at the discretion of DJ PGee. These prices are to be used as a guideline only. PGee's rates are subject to discretionary increases, but please rest assured that all previously contracted rates will be honored. PGee requests a 20% deposit on all bookings to reserve your date. Please contact PGee to negotiate for additional multi-hour blocks or referral discounts.
Wedding
For 2009: Minimum performance fee, up to 5 hours, for up to 200 guests, including reasonable drive time, set-up and breakdown of equipment, soundcheck, all administrative costs (including music purchase, within reason) and unlimited pre-wedding consultation, including email and personal meeting(s).......................$850
Additional performance time, or for live ceremony music................................................................$150/hour
>200 guests, extraneous drive time or mileage.......................................................................$Discretionary
